    Hello,

    I have Hp Compaq Presario F700, my sound card is not working anymore. It says no audio output device is installed. Unfortunately, there is no "sound, video and game controllers" in device manager, and also my sound device is not seen in device manager. My sound appeared a few days ago, but after a restart it has gone again. I tried to install the driver over and over again, but it says "could not find MEDIA device for this driver" I don't know what to do! Please someone help me.

    My Operating System is Vista.

    Hi missmojito, Welcome to Windowsbbs! :)

    Try downloading your graphics, sound, and chipset drivers from here, Compaq Presario F700 Notebook PC series Drivers.

    Does the computer have Windows Vista Service Pack 2 installed and is it running a 32-bit or a 64-bit version of Vista?

    Also please enter your System Details. It helps us in answering your questions.

    Note: A common error is to forget to show your System Details in your profile:

    Make sure to do the above when entering your System Details, thanks.

    Firstly, thank you for your reply.

    I've already tried to download drivers, but as I said before, when I want to update audio driver, it don't let me to do. As system can not see my sound card, it gives error "could not find media device for this driver"

    My computer have Windows Vista Service Pack 2 installed and it is running 32 bit version.

    Here is a screenshot of my System Details;
