Resolved best defrag software

    what is the best defrag software
    it should ofcourse be free (no trials)

    or do you just tink that i just use the inbuilt defrag ?

    The best is not free (Diskeeper IMHO), but Auslogics is often recommended here - I have no experience of it.

    With todays large hard drives defragmenting is of lesser importance that in the days when disks were a few Gb, but is still worthwhile.

    Windows, particularly the later versions is pretty efficient at defragging automatically.

    But we can't even guess your OS .....

    well i have 22.9 gb of 60 gb memory in ( C: )

    and i cant fill the system info cause i dont now it... :(

    i try Auslogics

    ok thx, btw Auslogics semms to be a 15 day trial :(
    isnt there anyway to get it for unlimited time instead of 15 DAYS

    It does have unlimited time. You were probably looking at Auslogics Boost Speed that does have a 15 day trial.

    Auslogics Disk Defrag on the other hand is free and has no trial.

    ok just 1 question on auslogiscs disk defrag

    it has settings on highest priority
    and i set pririty on highest in task manager to
    but it only uses 4% is that normal?

    Any program will use as much CPU capacity as it requires to do the task It will not run when it can walk :)
