I have an Apple studio display flatscreen M4551 that does not work with wondows xp professional....the strange thing is that it DID work with my previous computer that also had windows but I cant remember what version. I think it was ME. But anyways all I did was plug in the 15 pin moniter connector and it worked on the old one. SO what do I need to get it to work on my computer now which is running windows XP professiona'. I cant seem to find a driver anywhere online. One of the pins is missing in the 15 pin connector of the Apple monitor but I am pretty definite that it DID NOT fall out between the old computer and this one. Someone please help!! lol

Can you see any display at all ? Does the problem occurs in Windows only or at boot time only ?

    Also update your system specs.

Which indicates that the graphics card/chip is not sending out a signal. Have you tried another monitor on this computer?
Please follow the link given in Arie's post and complete your system details as indicated in that link.

Which graphic card are you using ?

Please update your System Details. Only 32bit OS is of no use to us.

    materfunki,

I understand your frustration but we need more data to resolve your problem.

My wild guess is that your monitor is not supporting the display card V-sync/H-sync range.

then why does it support a computer running an earlier version of windows with a much older video card and processor and Bios?
