While using the keyboard the monitor image orientation suddenly flipped 90%counter-clockwise so that everything from desktop to IE is lieing on its side. I am running XP-Home Edition with an Acer H243H Monitor. I am using an HP cordless keyboard. Typing this while everything is lieing on its side is really wierd. Help please - TIA

    :)

It's a graphic setting, nothing to worry about, look in control panel to make adjustments or post your system & particulary your graphic card details.

If this is your main system it would be helpful if you add your system details to your profile. Please click on the link and follow those instructions it could save some time when resolving this or further issues.

A common error is to forget to show your system details in your profile

If you do add your system specifications be sure to do the above :)

    Hi,
Thanks for your help. In my lower right toolbar tray I found an Acer eDisplay Management Icon which, under "Extras" had a pivot option. Upon clicking on zero as an option, the display righted itself, solving the problem. How I ever trigered it to 90 degrees counterclockwise, in the first place, I will never know:confused:

I did "go the extra mile" and add my system details to my profile. The downloaded SIW program is great - Thanks

Happy to help, there's probably a shortcut key to pivot the display :)
