Hi msgreneeye, Welcome to Windowsbbs! :)

Have you gone into your computers BIOS and made sure that your system is set to boot from your Windows XP CD? When you attempt to boot from the CD, do you see the words that come up which read press any key to boot from CD?

Have you tried booting from the Windows XP CD in another computer to make sure that the CD itself isn't faulty?

Also please enter your System Details. It helps us in answering your questions.

Note: A common error is to forget to show your system details in your profile:

Make sure to do the above when entering your System Details, thanks.

Do you have any friends or relatives that you can borrow a Windows XP CD from?
