I have been trying to install the above software and it won't install. It gives me a message that it was interrupted and can't be completed. I found one answer to this problem and that is to uninstall microsoft.net framework 3.5 SP 1.

By the way, I also turned off my antivirus, etc. and it still wouldn't install.

Is it safe to remove this from my add/remove programs?

    Will appreciate all help.

    Thanks!

    Sorry about that....

I have several instances of microsoft.net framework--do I need them? Obviously I don't even know what it is!

    Thanks for your quick reply.

FYI - .Net explanation It is normal to have 3 versions plus their Service Packs.

A very few programs require .net to run and if not loaded will advise or, if a new software install will load it.

You still didn't post your OS :)

Have you uninstalled .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 and tried installing again?

You may find it beneficial to read through/post on the Roxio Easy VHS to DVD forum
