One of my four harddrives has suddently disappeared.

Harddrive :F which I barely use is now gone after I did a "small" reboot. I have norton ghost, which recovers your computer to the spot where the computer were working perfectly. I had saved the recovery spots on the harddrive F, which is now gone, which means I can't recover my computer anymore.

I don't know why or how this happened, and I am hoping that anyone can help me to get the harddrive back.

    Thank you in advance.

Hi FrankieB and welcome to WindowsBBS :)

Is it a drive or partition? If a drive does it show in device manager or in your BIOS?

Some information about your setup would help...

If this is your main system it would be helpful if you add your system details to your profile. Please click on the link and follow those instructions it could save some time when resolving this or further issues.

A common error is to forget to show your system details in your profile

If you do add your system specifications be sure to do the above :)

As well as following the above instructions could you let us know how your HD's are connected, Internally or externally. Please use SIW if you can it will provide more accurate information.

    Hi,

I don't know if it's drive or partition, but I don't think it's a drive since there's no other harddrives in the computer.

It was my cousin who bought the computer, and the harddrive F have always been there, since I received it.
When I open the computer, there's no other harddrivers to find.

I hope this information was useful.

So you have one Hard Drive with 4 partitions
3 Partitions are still showing (including the Windows Operating System), but the original "F" drive partition has suddenly disappeared?

    Is that correct?

If so, then firstly how important is the data (images) on the original F drive to you? Do you want to recover them, or are you happy to just get the hard drive space back?

I would recommend the you check Disk management in Windows to see what is reported there
    1.
Open Computer Management by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Security, clicking Administrative Tools, and then double-clicking Computer Management.
    2.
In the left pane, under Storage, click Disk Management, and then look to see if all 4 drives are present.
