    Hi,

I'm looking for a program (Freeware if possible) that i can select a group of pictures and resize them all at once rather than doing them one at a time.
I've tried picassa, and others but the won't allow me to resize multiple jpg's at one time.
    any ideas.
    Thanks.
    Bill

Irfanview (it's free) will do it. However, like Steve said, all pics would need to be the same size to begin with.

thanks, i've tried infranview. what i would like to do is in an 'explorer' type window that lists the pictures is to select a group of them and change the size once and for all.
infranview is like the other pgms that i've looked at where i need to open each picture and make my changes. Infranview is an awesome pgm but doesn't do what i'm looking for.

Bill - If you had filled in your System Specifications we would at least know which OS you are running

For Windows XP look at Image Resizer - an MS PowerToy .....

You can do that with Irfanview. Open Irfanview, click file>thumbnails. Then, browse to the folder where the pictures are that you want to resize and select the files you want just as you would in Windows Explorer. When you're done, right click on one of the selected files and choose "start batch dialog with selected files ". Then go through the resizing process from there.

Snapfiles may have what you need

    Hi Bill -

If you're looking for a freeware graphics program take a look at
Snapfiles. This site used to be called Webattack but they changed the name several years ago.

You will find hundreds, if not thousands, of downloadable freeware and shareware programs at Snapfiles. Click on the green tabs at the top for freeware or shareware. This has been one of my favorite places on the Internet for more than 10 years. If you can't find what you need there I'll be surprised. Hope this helps. :)

    Mike
