Is Registry Cleaner good to speedup my windows ?

    Hi,

    My computer has been working slow lately & getting errors since last month.

    Friends recommended me to use registry cleaner to speed up my Windows.

    Is registry cleaner best to speedup my windows ?

    try using defrag first and how many programes do you have running how many little icons do have next to the clock

    As Steve said using registry cleaners is a bad idea as they can do more harm than good. I would try using Auslogics Disk Defrag to speed up your computer.

    Also please fill out your System Details. It helps us in answering your questions.

    Anything claiming to clean your registry is BS. There is no solution to registry fragmentation other than a fresh install.

    in future ONLY surf the interweb from a limited privilege user account (not-admin)

    You may clear the Temp folders, defrag the hard disk, close some unwanted process from task manager.
