I recently tried to turn on the wireless for my laptop, HP Pavilion TX1000. The light shows the wireless is on, but only the bluetooth option shows up. The wireless option doesn't even show up to tell me if it's on or off. I haven't tried to use the wireless in a few months so I'm not sure if this issue is new or not. When I go into the Internet and Networking options through the control panel I can't even get into anything dealing with wireless. The only options that show up are for bluetooth and LAN. I have never had this issue before.

I added all of my system details on to my profile. Sorry about the delay. Here is what SIW gave for my networking adapters.

    Broadcom 4321AG 802.11a/b/g/draft-n Wi-Fi Adapter
    Broadcom 802.11 b/g WLAN
    NVIDIA n Force Networking Controller

Thanks for all the help so far.

See if you have the current HP driver installed, see if you have an HP diagnostics disk to check the hardware.
