pls help sir about my problem.. i cannot open anti virus sites and microsoft sites..

ive seen in this forum a thread about almost same as my problem and the moderator who assist him is Dave and ask him to use Combofix... so i tried using that combofix thing and follow the instructions.. now after i use it.. i try to open antivirus sites but still i cannot open it.. I know its my fault that no one ask me to open combofix... but i only use combofix and no other more programs so if does not work i could ask the experts about it to prevent damage that may occur... I hope you could help me about my problem ..

thanks and have a good day..

The version of windows that you are using would be nice. You should post your problems first before running programs trying to fix something. 1 program is not a fix all. Some problems require different programs or a combination of them. What was your original problem that made you run ComboFix?

What AV are you using? Give us a link to one of the MS sites you can't get to.

I know that you have to be qualified to post and give help in that section. That is fine and good. I look in there to learn. Lots of times I see programs that are out dated and no reference to update them. Some of the problems could come from them. Not saying that they are, but ALL programs should be kept up to date.

    http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/online/

This is a good little program. I have used it for years. When you open it up, click on START SCANNER. It will now go to another page. Wait about 15 seconds then put a check in the box that says Enable thorough system inspection. Leave the check in Display only insecure programs. Then click Start The only one that I have had it give me a problem with is Adobe Flash Player. I have had to remove it from the Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs to get it downloaded right. A link is provided to the ones that are out of date and should be updated because of security vulnerabilities in those programs.
