In April I had to revert back to factory fresh and restore data from a backup. I now have two user accounts with ".cooleyfamily" [computer name] and two without.

The ones without the ".cooleyfamily" are empty of any needed data so I want to delete them. But I can't because there are two files in the "AppData/Roaming/SecROM/UserData" subdirectory with the name "ЃϵϳЅЂϿϽϯІχϯπρЂϻϵЉЃϵϳЅ " . Windows cannot find the file because it is no longer there.

I tried Killbox but I get "MSCOMCTL.OCX or one of its dependencies is not correctly registered: a file is missing" everytime I try to run it.

Its not a show stopper. Just annoying.

    Any Ideas?

Did you try deleting from a command prompt?

    Arie,

    I am STUPID!

I was trying to delete these files from my logon. I switched to Chong's account and was able to get rid of the files. Thanks for your help.

    I can't believe I was so dumb...
