I have a xp svc 2 , 2.5 celeron that shows in system as having 500 megs ram, but only 74 available. This seems odd to me. A few weeks ago i started noticing very slow web activity. Any suggestions?

    Hello Backyardliving

Welcome to the board. You might want to post your problem in the Windows XP forum. If you can provide the model number of you e-machines system, that would be helpful.

You can download HijackThis v 2.0.2 from TrendMicro at http://www.download.com/Trend-Micro-HijackThis/3000-8022_4-10227353.html
Save it to you desktop, once downloaded, doublecllick on the file and it will install on your computer. Once installed, doubleclick on the HiJackthis icon on you desktop. Click Do a system scan and save a log file. When it completes, the log will open in notepad. Copy the contents of that log and paste them into your post, then click Submit.
