svchost.exe 0x00ab9eec error

    I am getting this error, and have viewed another post from this forum, but I am not sure if it relates to my computer. I have an HP media center computer a couple years old w/ XP professional,with a HP 7310 all-n-one printer. The message pops up at the most annoying times. I did get rid of aother error already (clrerror: 80004005/hpqthb08,exe) but I don't know where to start to get this problem fixed, can you help?

    Hi, Peterson. Welcome to Windows BBS! :)

    Is this thread the one you mentioned having viewed?

    Do the symptoms described there match your symptoms?

    If so and you have a regular Windows XP install disc (not an HP recovery disc), then I would think Newt's suggestions might apply to your issue.
