I am trying to get IE 6 to display Korean characters when I go to Korean sites (my wife is Korean). I went to Tools, Internet Options, Languages, and added Korean to the dialog box. IExplorer seemed to be happy with that.

However, when I go to a site in Korea all I get is giberish and not the Korean Characters I am expecting.

    Can anyone suggest a fix?

    Thanks

    Mitchell

MitchellCooley--In IE click Help. Then on the Index tab type Languages. One of the options should be "Languages used in webpages ". Highlight that and click Display. Then highlight "Change Internet Explorer language settings" and click Display. The instructions are more complex than the Internet Options instructions starting with the section "To automatically detect a website's language ".
