I searched the forums and didn't find anything....

Can anyone recommend a good free popup blocker? I have Adaware personal edition and it doesn't come with the blocker. I really can afford to upgrade right now so.......anything trusted and free is good.

    Thanks

    Mitchell

I run two on all my machines and any machine I physically touch for malware related stuff.

The first one is embedded into the Google bar. I just have it not send any info back to Google.

The second one I use is Panicware Free Pop Up Stopper

I find it very rare I get any pop ups from any sites. More times than not I have to hit the 'Ctrl' key to allow one.

Also remember that both IE 6 SP1 and IE 7 have built in popup blockers - I disable it and use the Google toolbar as recommended by Tom and have found it to be virtually infallible in this respect - also the spell checker is great - better than IE Spell IMO.
