    Hey

I was getting a blue screen error then pc restarts, while working , because of R8139n51.sys which is the realtek NIC driver file.

So i thought about upgrading the driver, and downloaded a new one from the realtek site. I'm still getting that blue screen error with the new driver also Rtnicxp.sys.

So why is this happening? and what should i do to fix that.

    Thanks in advance

There used to be an issue with some ADM chipset network adapter cards where they (mistakenly) used the Vendor ID of Realtek.

If that is the case, the card will be replaced for you without expense by your dealer whether it is in Warranty or not.

Otherwise, replace the card. Hopefully it is under warranty.

    Get rid of the malwares.

Download, install, and update the Trial of Ewido/AVG antispyware: http://www.ewido.net/en/download/

Download, install, update the Trial version of SpySweeper: http://www.webroot.com/consumer/products/spysweeper/index.html?acode=af1&rc=4129

Reboot in Safe Mode, and run both programs. Allow them to fix any issues they find.

    Reboot to Normal mode.

Then head to the online site for Kaspersky scan: http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner

    Reboot.

If any issues still lingers, see the experts: http://www.windowsbbs.com/forumdisplay.php?f=41
