Every time I run SuperAntiSpyware it finds this corrupted file.

Critical Windows file associations have been corrupted.

Ir I were to run a SystemFileChecker would it get rid of the problem?

Each time SuperAntiSpyware finds it and goes through the motions of removing it, it never works. It's always there on the next scan.

I'd appreciate some sound advice about this, with many thanks.

I tried a system file check and it didn't fix the problem.

Sorry, I didn't see that. All SuperAntiSpyware says is Broken.FileAssossiation [1 items].
Then when I click on the plus sign it expands to show-

    Registry Keys and

    HKCR\exe

My initial thought is you've had a malware infection that's been partially cleansed...

Still worthwhile a visit to Malware and Virus removal, unless anyone thinks different?

Please follow these instructions as best you can and post in the Malware and Virus Removal forum.

Thank you, but I've run Spybot, SuperAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes, AVG full servcice anti-virus, and Stopzilla paid version and the only one that finds it is SuperAntiSpyware which says it deletes it but never does. It quarantines it, but it always shows up in the very next scan, even after I've deleted it from the quarantine vault.

It was needed, you are infected, a Malware expert will get to your log.
