    Found this from CNN Money...

The popular app, which allows Starbucks customers to purchase drinks and food directly from their smartphones, saves customers' usernames, passwords and other personal information in plain text. That means a hacker could pick up a left-behind phone, plug it into a laptop and easily recover a Starbucks customer's password without even knowing the smartphone's PIN code.

Look like Starbucks would have encrypted such information.

Their coffee is too strong for me anyway.

    Ain't that the truth!

I could drink Green Mountain coffee in the K-cup for less.

I never had a cup of coffee. It is scary and sad that you can't even purchase a cup of coffee without having to worry about security issues. I think the government should help the criminals out by passing a mandatory 3 day waiting period before a law abiding citizens can buy a cup of coffee. All kidding aside it is sad.

Its sad we have to worry about such things. I detest thieves. Hackers are thieves. I can't imagine being so lazy that I would need an app to order a cup of coffee. I used to buy coffee at Starbucks three four times a week. I would see cars in the drive-up lane - I could park, walk in and get my coffee and drive away before the car at the ordering spot could get to the window.

Don't buy coffee there any more though.

I fear it is only going to get worse

They got a place in Pensacola and Destin Fl. called McGuire's. They didn't know it, but they were hacked some 3 or so months ago and just found out about it.
