    I just installed the repair console to my computer and as perscribed, it pops up on the reboot screen, asking if I want to run that or XP. Well Ive decided I don't want it for now. If you can install the console from the XP CD, is there anyway to remove it too, so that my screen can go back?

    I would leave it as is and change the menu time display from 30 seconds to 2 or 3 seconds:

    Control Panel->System icon->Advanced tab->Startup and Recovery

  3. to hide this advert.

    Hello maki,

    Try unchecking that option: "Time to list operating systems" - I think you won't see the screen at all.

    For reference, see this thread:

    Regards - Charles

    EDIT: Maki, I noticed the last time you asked for help, you never posted back on Newt's advice. Could you do us the courtesy of doing so this time?

    Your welcome maki and thanks for the feedback.

    Your reply also reinforces my supposition that I made in that referenced thread.

    Regards - Charles
