Pop-Up Issue

Hi i'm running IE8 on vista.. i've been getting a numerous amount of pop-ups and have tried everything possible (within my knowledge.) I have only three sites allowed for pop-up's but every other website i vist i get some ad. Please Help!

 

Is your pop up blocker turned on and what level is it set to?

 

Yes the pop up blocker is on.. its set to high due to the fact that its really not blocking anything. Although it did block the pop-up for the rules for posting.When i travel to sites such as facebook, myspace, amazon, i get an ad..

Site Admin, i don't know if you are trying to tell me to post this in malware or not please help me understand your post. I do apologize if i did not correctly follow the procedure.

With the settings you have there should be only a few adds that get through. I would follow advice from Admin and go to the Malware and Virus forum as you have probably got some Malware on your system.

 

ok thank you very much. I thought that it would be an IE problem since it only happend on IE and not Chrome.. But thanks for the advice
