OE compacting

    Lately my Outlook Express has started compacting messages whenever I close down. I have never, to my knowledge, directed that and cannot find the option to do so.

    Where is this option?

    I regularly delete the delete folder and any others I no long want so I don't need OE to compact for me. No way of stopping it either.

    S__T, just one more negative for MS.

    I wish Eudora was as easy to use. I tried it and had to give it up because of not being able to import my groups from OE, just the addresses!
