I have a Kenwood kdc-x469 in my truck. The instruction manual pages 6 and 7 says it will play mp3 cds. I have tried copying files to a cd, Burnaware Free, and Ashampoo.

When I put the cd in my stereo it shows track 1 and is counting up but noting else happens. the track 1 seems to go on forever.

I haven't got a clue where I am going wrong.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I don't have a single mp3 to my name :) so I am unable to try making an mp3 CD.

Does the CD play on the CD player in the computer?

Well, I think the problem is with the kenwood. the cds play ok in my TEAC and in my friends car stereo. I'll have to do some more studying about "ISO 9660 level 1 and level 2, Joliet, and Romeo formats.

Well, I found out my particular model does not support MP3 CDs. Guess that's why it didn't work......
