face book display

    Hi:
    When i open facebook in IE6, the page is in txt format like in notepad and no piccture displays.

    Anybody can help me pls...

    Please fill you your System Specs by going to User CP near the top left of the page. We have no idea what OS your are running or anything else. Have you got the latest version of Flash and Java downloaded on your PC? Have you deleted Temp Files etc.?

    No matter what, you should not be using IE6. It's like driving a car without breaks.

    Upgrade to at least IE7.

    I didn't question the IE6 as they may be running something that won't upgrade past it. That is why people should fill out their System Details.

    I know, but then again, you shouldn't be running Windows 9x and connecting that to the Internet anyway ;)

    I believe members are trying to tell you ie6 is a dinaosaur but most of all a dangerous one. Outdated. unsupported, unsecure and a menace. In the case of facebook see:

    Even Facebook wants this version dead and buried. I believe you will run into a lot of sites choking on this version of IE. It's time to let it go.
