Windows Vista Error code 80070643

    I am have problems getting updates. this error keeps popping up, cant install updates 80070643 tried all the help advice nothing works. Microsoft says I have registry problems????

    I do not have office 2003 installed on my computer.

    This is for the same error code but relates to .Net framework which I am sure you do have.

    Registry errors can and do occur for various reasons so microsoft are more than likely correct.
