Windows 7 using windows mail. For the last two days I cannot send or receive email through my Mediacom account. Windows mail works for Hotmail not Mediacom. I get the following error: Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80004005
Mediacom referred me to a 3rd party who wants $$ to solve my problem.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I should also add the Medaicom tech support says it is a Windows Mail issue.

That link says it is for Windows Vista, I have Windows 7. Can I still use this patch?

When this error occurred, I wasn't changing anything, all I did way start my computer. An Adobe and McAfee updates were received.

So, start by entering your System Details. It helps us in answering your questions!

Then state the amount of free disk space and available RAM.
