Runing windows 7 pro 64 bit, I have firefox ver 22, I have block popups checked.
I am getting these Comsumer Survey Group popups, which opens in a new browser page (not a Tab) I have Microsoft Security ess, I ran Malwarebytes and superantispyware and was clean on their checks.
I reformatted my drive, reinstall everything. I installed Firefox ver 22 and I still get the darn popups.
My firefox Extenions are Adblock plus,Download helper,Downthemall, Freecoder 7,, toolbar buttons these were installed before the survey
popups started,,the newest one I have is Flash video downloaded 3.9.3
Are These popups a new Norm for firefox?
Any ideas on how to stop these popups
Thanks for reading and any help you may offer

Wow, that is really odd, especially because it occurs after a fresh install...

See at this stage I would reccomended seeing Broni, but after a fresh install...

I think you should wait and see if anyone else can shed any light on this strange issue...

    Just an after-thought...

It sounds like malware... But as said above if it's after a fresh install aswell, then that's very unlikely...

Do you have any toolbars installed? It may also be that you have a program installed, which is causing the popups. It would be helpful if you could post a complete list of ALL the programs you have installed since the fresh install.

I can assure you, AFAIK firefox is certainly not including this cr@p in their install packages...

The second page after starting FF was a survey. After my wiping and restore I only get this thru FF I tryed Ver 22,& 20,& 19 Only with FF Chrome I don't get them, With Palemoon I dont get them
Now I use Palemoon as my main Browser

You may need more than just those two tools to find the infection. (Neither of those can find rootkits for example).
