I'm currently in a period of transition from the Google Chrome browser to another (haven't decided yet which one), and I'd like to use an online bookmarking service like delicio.us. I tried that site a few years ago, but didn't like them b/c their bookmark UI had lots of stuff that I'm not interested in. I just want a simple way to access my bookmarks regardless of what browser I'm using, preferably from a bookmarks toolbar that all browsers have. Does anyone use anything? I'm not expecting something as quick as my own browser's bookmarks menu, but quick access would be nice.

My sister uses this one EasyBM and seems to like it. I just copied mine to a Wordpad file when I was transitioning between browsers and OS's.

Thanks, Mitchell. I'll give that a lookover.

    EasyBM looks pretty decent.

Normally exporting/importing from an html file is all that is needed, but I seem to be switching browsers (which requires not only transferring bookmarks, but adjusting the bookmarks bar, etc.) frequently, and occasionally trying more than one out at a time, so I'd like to keep all my bookmarks on one location.

FYI, the exported bookmarks file (bookmark.htm or bookmark.html) can be opened directly in your browser. By default, it gets exported to My Documents. Keep regular backups of that file (it will get overwritten each time you export). You can even email it to yourself and access it via Webmail in times of need.

Yes, that makes sense, givien that it is an htlm file, but I typically like to use keywords to open up frequently accessed sites, plus I have a lot of nested sub-folders, so it would look a bit awkward when accessed as bare html.

Maybe that's my problem. For teh most part, my bookmarks are a combination of (1) frequently accessed sites, which I keep in a separate folder on my bookmarks bar, (2) forums that I less frequently access, and (3) a collection of sites I'll never re-visit, even though they looked fascinating when I bookmarked them. I could probably pare them down to 40 w/o losing any sleep over it....
