    Hello,

I searched in the FAQ for "minimalise/maximalise button" and I get no result so I put here my problem. All my internet windows are maximalised wether the button is in one or the other possition. So I also cannot put the windows next to each other. How can I fix this?

    Greetings, PEter

    Do you mean Restore Down/Maximize?

If so, Restore Down and resize the window by dragging any border/corner with the mouse to resize.

Note: the minimize button is the first of the three, then you have Restore Down/Maximize as the second and finally close as the third. Minimize and Restore Down/Maximize are unrelated.

    I use Windows Internet Explorer.
When I drag the page to half it's size I can "restore down/maximize ". But when I try the "show windows next to each other" (I have to translate it from duch), again I get maximized windows with a blocked restore down/maximize button.

If have more than one Internet Explorer window opened then close all but one, then resize the current window to half screen. Then close the window.

Next, open Internet Explorer again and use Restore down/Restore button again and you will be able to toggle between small window and full screen.

The problem you describe is really not an Internet Explorer problem but a feature of Windows 7. Grab a window at the title bar and drag it off the screen right or left until half the screen has a white line, then release the mouse button. That will filll half the screen with the window.
