Safe mode likes to hang around

Hello all, first post.
I had a terrible spyware/malware problem and I think I finally have it licked. We'll see. The problem I'd like you all to help me with is safe mode. I did all the cleaning and scanning in safe mode. When I boot back normally, all of the other profiles still think they are in safe mode too. Not completely though. There's a lot of the normal junk loading up, but networking won't load, nor does my anti-virus programs. I'm here now in safe mode with networking because the internet doesn't load in my normal profile. Any idea how I can let my computer know that I don't want it to be in safe mode any longer? Oh yeah, may or may not be important, but the administrator profile shows up in the profile list during normal boot instead of being hidden.
