Resolved Win 8.1 computer on LAN can't login to another Win 8.1 computer

Can you try a clean boot with firewalls down. Perhaps security software is common on all machines?

If that does not do it, then some info from one or both of the machines having the issue, would be nice.

List Users, Partitions and Memory size
List Devices (problems only)



Click Go and post the result.

 

The problem disappeared suddenly on its own a week back

Don't know till now why it happened and why or how it resolved itself
