I'm hoping for an easy way to get my printer to install. I get this error message, 0x0000000d. Is there a simple click to undo this error? I'm not comfortable with this. I don't know what to change the server name to. Where do I find out what my server name is? I did a "google" for the error message. Found out how to help this printer to install. But, not sure how to do it.
    Win 7
    Lenovo laptop
    thx,
    Bob

Maybe you should start from the beginning....

What is the make and model number ot the printer?
Where or what is it hooked up too? Is it hooked up to your local computer or somewhere else?

It was working until we did a restore. It's wireless with a home network. The printer is a Kodak AIO 7. It works off my other laptop.

You may have lost the Password for your Wireless connection when you did the Restore.
Have you tried to Diagnose using MS?
Start > Control Panel > Network and Sharing > Click on Wi-Fi Wireless > Diagnose. Neil.

    printer error

The printer is the only wireless connection that isn't working. It connects to the wifi for the internet. Would it be a seperate connection for the printer?
    thx,
    Bob

Hi rgn, Go to > Control Panel > Network and Sharing center > Click on your Wi-Fi connection > WI-Fi Status window > Wireless Properties > Security > and make sure your Network Security Key is set > OK out.

You do have your Printer Software installed in your Lenova Laptop?

PS. Network Security Key is the code that you used to set up your Wireless Modem/Router. Neil.

    printer error

    Thanks for the reply.
The laptop does work wifi right now. But, I get an error message when I try to install the software...it says I have a device driver error. The Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter has a yellow triangle on it. I go to install a updated driver, and it says it has the latest driver. I'm sure this is the problem, why I can't reinstall the software, along with the oxoooooood error message. I'm not going into the registry to manually fix the error. Has to be an easier way, besides bring it to a Pro.

Is this error message shown in Device Manager?
Have you tried uninstalling it in Device Manager > Reboot and let MS install again? Neil.

It won't install the software, I think cause of the device adaptor error.

Hi Bob, sorry I have been busy with domestic problems.
To Re-cap: Your new Lenova Laptop was working OK. You did a Restore - Why?
Since the Restore you have been unable to load your Kodak Wireless printer software.
You have an error which reports The Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter is not installed.
Have you tried sfc /scannow to see if all system files are correct?
Because you've done a System Restore - it points to a corruption in the files.
Was the Restore from a Partition on the HD or using the MS DVD of W7? Neil.

We did it from a CD.

What is a sfc/scannow? How do I use it?

Something happened and my wife thought she could fix it herself. She should have waited for me to check it out.

I did a sfc /scannow, it didn't find any errors.

Can I delete the Teredo Tunneling Adapter, and reboot the system? Will it install the missing adapter?

I didn't uninstall the adaptor. I tried to disable it, but it still didn't let me install the printer software.
