When opening URL's in Outlook Express I would like to limit the browser to Google Chrome. Can this be done? How? When searching I found a post for limiting it to MS IE and Google Chrome. When putting it into practice it always opened the URL with IE. I would like to limit it to Google Chrome. Any help would be appreciated.

I believe Outlook uses your default browser to open links in emails. Set Chrome as your default and see it this helps.

Thanks, Mitchell. I set Google as default and made changes as well in Control Panel/Add Remove Programs in response to a suggestion in another thread. Both Google Chrome and IE are listed there. I would like to know how to eliminate IE altogether, if possible.

You can't completely get rid of IE as it is an integral part of the OS --- As Far As I Know....

In XP you can uninstall IE7 but it will revert to IE6 which you cannot uninstall
In Vista you cannot uninstall IE7.

What you can do is set your default to Chrome and remove shortcuts related to IE from your desktop and start menu.

Thanks again. I'll remove the shortcuts and see what happens.
