Hello, one Internet page is stuck in there and won't budget no matter how much and how many times I tried. Tried the X, tried the Back button, tried changing the "No Internet addons" which someone suggested in another forum here. I also tried changing the URL in the address window - ...nothing helped!

Anyone would know what more one can do to get rid of this undesirable thing?

Thanks ever so much! :) Adela

    P.S. Font size doesn't work...

    Hello Adela,

Stuck in where? I'm going to assume you mean either a tab or browser window, until further informed. So..

Rather than just using the back button, use the arrow drop down on the back forward button and click on an older url two or more down. Some site pages do some hocus pocus on the back button history that requires you go back in history this way, to jump over the way they list themselves in the back history.

Or try opening taskmanager and "end task" on the window using the "process tab ".

    Clear IE cache:

    with in IE>toolbar>tools>internet options>general tab>delete browsing history.

    Close and reopen IE.

Hello and thanks Goddez1. Yes an Internet page stays on my screen and nothng I did to get rid of worked.
I also did that yesterday but from the URL browser narrow window showing a different URL but....didn't budget either!
Also did this as a first attempt.

"Clear URL cashe" means deleting all temps, etc. isn't it? All done yesterday and more.

I finally had to close and restart and it did go away but I left this step for the last as it is quite a trouble doing it in the middle of a project.

The one other thing I didn't get to do which you also so kindly suggested and that I'm going to try next if it happens again, is to open the taskmanager and "end task" on the window using the "process tab ". That I will do and I thank you so much for your great help! :)

Your most welcome Adela. We gave it a shot and, while this wasn't the resolution sought, it did take care of the problem. Thank you for the update.
