    Persistent Little Bugger

Thanks Pete but no sale. I followed the course of action but this little mess keeps reloading itself. I delete everything I can think of, even going into registry and deleting anything that has to do with Kiwee but after reboot all the files in Kiwee Toolbar are back. Each time I log on to Firefox, it changes my home page. What now?

Please read this and post requested logs in the Malware and virus removal board.

    NOTES:
When posting the logs ensure word wrap is switched off (in notepad Uncheck Format->Word Wrap) as this makes them difficult to read.

Be aware that only Malware analysts will advise and they are often busy. Your post will be taken on a first come first served basis but it may take a while before you receive a reply.

Include a link to this thread if you can.

    Posting

Wildfire, thanks for the input but Why? I first went to that board and seached for anything on this malicious toolbar and came up empty. That's when I decided to post in General Security. If it is not accepted then why was an answer given? I still have the problem and that is why I'm here. Solve it here or there, makes no difference to me.

    joe,

Your post here is perfectly acceptable. Unfortunately the solution supplied didn't work for you. The malware analysts are experts at removing BHO's and can give the rest of your system the all clear at the same time ;)

If you wish to continue here awaiting answers then so be it. I'd still recommend the valued advice from the experts though.

    Joe

It is the policy of WindowsBBS that malware logs are posted only in the Malware & Virus Removal forum. Your initial post in this forum was just fine :)
