I have Sonthakit's "hotmail watcher" installed for outlook.com email notifications. All was working good until the last FF update to version 28 on 3-28. Anyone else have this problem. I really like the way the utility works.

    Thanks

Last update was 4-9-14. I email the publisher about the problem when I made this post, but have not heard from him. Everything is there that is supposed to be, meaning I can even see it checking every 1 minute, but it give no alerts of any sort when I get new email, also next to the notification icon it says "hotmail not connected" and it is grey not orange like it was when it worked. Going back to FF27 did not help either, so I am back on 28 and out of ideas, obsessed to get this working again....

Yes I read that a week ago. I have poured over everything I could find about it. I am trying to find others that are using this utility and see if it is me or the add on. Also tried it on XP it says it is compatible with it. Same results.

What version of FF was in the XP OS?
Looks like a problem with Mozilla compatibility. Have you searched the Mozilla Forums for like complaints? Neil.

" problem with Mozilla compatibility" Agreed, it loads, everything is there, just doesn't work.

Xp was on 28 then I tried 27. Yes I have searched the mozilla forums the best I could. I also found out the developer for some reason is no friends with mozi

The hotmailwatcher developer found a problem in a sub folder of the add on, he repaired it and email it back to me. It is working fine now.
