Holding down CONTOL while rolling the mouse scroll wheel zooms the font size up or down.

Have I got this right - Nescape works the opposite way to MS Office and Mulbery.

    How was that got wrong?

    Hi Labarum,

What are you settings in Preferences | Advanced | Mouse Wheel?

If you enabled "Make the text larger or smaller" then moving the mouse wheel up or down increases/decreases font size. Holding down Ctrl or Shift does nothing, however.

Good morning Ramona (well it is here in heat wave UK)

In Mousewheel Options I set modifier ket to CONTROL and select "make font larger or smaller "

My point is that in MS WORD and lots of programs rolling the wheel forward increases the font size -in Netscape it reduces.

    Very confusing!

    Hi Labarum,

O.K., now I see your point. I don't use the Mouse Wheel scrolling option, so wasn't clear on what you were saying. Yes, it is the opposite of IE, but note that Office works the same way as Netscape. There have been several Bug Reports on this issue, but they are older. Whether or not this will be reversed seems up in the air. I can certainly see that this would be confusing...

    No, Ramona,

IE - - Push wheel forward - font gets smaller
Netscape - - - Push wheel forward font gets smaller.
WORD - Push wheel forward - font gets bigger
Star Office - - Push wheel forward -font gets bigger
Mulberry - - Push wheel forward - font gets bigger.

Very, very confusing - I would have expected consistency in MS products.

    Labarum,

LOL! I'll take your word for it as I have none of those programs except Netscape...
    I've never used IE.

But nevertheless, consistency would be a step up!
