    Unlike earlier versions of IE, IE6 does not include a means of magnifying or zooming in on an image on the net, though an image can be saved to your system and zoomed in on through the use of the Windows Picture Viewer.

    That being said, the following article states that the free add-on tools that were introduced with IE5 still work with IE6, which is contrary to what is printed on the Microsoft's download page. Scroll down to item 3 on the contents to read the article. The article also includes a link for the IE5 tools.

    When u try to see a picture in IE6 the picture is set to "fit to window" by default. if u put the mouse cursor over the image u will see a stretch icon on the bottom right corner of the image, click that and the image goes to it's original size.

    Link to accessories by MS

    ---------------My zoom didnt work till we did this-------------
    Quote:
    Note: These accessories from Microsoft are marked for IE 5 only, however they work just fine in IE 6 with a small exception (see below)

    Web Accessories This kit contains eight terrific utilities that let you zoom in and out on any image, highlight text, do custom searches, and much, much more.

    [Exception 1]Note: there's a small glitch in the Zoom In\Out function
    To fix it, use Notepad to open ZOOMIN.HTM (found usually in WINDOWS\WEB\),
    end edit it to read both image dimensions before setting any of them:

    old contents:
    ...
    h = parentwin.event.srcElement.height * 2;
    parentwin.event.srcElement.height = h;
    w = parentwin.event.srcElement.width * 2;
    parentwin.event.srcElement.width = w;
    ...

    new contents (the 3rd line in the fragment above moved up):
    ...
    h = parentwin.event.srcElement.height * 2;
    w = parentwin.event.srcElement.width * 2;
    parentwin.event.srcElement.height = h;
    parentwin.event.srcElement.width = w;
    ...

    Do the same for ZOOMOUT.HTM.

    [Exception 2] The Image List option also has a small glitch, when you select the Image List from the right-click menu the page appears but it's blank. As a workaround press F5 or select: Refresh, the page will produce the Image List.
