    Hi alboy:
    Try this:
Get rid of the popup nag screen by adding -nosplash to the target url on the shortcut icon in:

    C:\WINDOWS\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp

Right click/properties and make it so:

    "C:\Program Files\Zone Labs\ZoneAlarm\zonealarm.exe" -nopopup -nosplash

Blatantly ripped off of our very own Steve R Jones and Whitphil from here.

Just so you know folks, I just checked the properties of my shortcut for ZA and it's already that way. I didn't do anything, it must be the default when you elect to start the program by clicking that option in the configuration box within the program screen.

I'm guessing those with that problem created their own shortcut and would need that for eliminating the splash and pop up screen. Perhaps deleting their shortcut and using the program option would serve them better.

I just re-installed ZA to check if I missed a step... On installation ZA only added the -nopopup flag. On first restart it runs you through a stream of Screens telling you what the program does and encourging you to update to ZA Pro... Re-started Windows and the Splash Screen pops up and says you are protected... "Why not upgrade to ZA Pro? "

I beleive the nosplash flag is left of so you keep seeing the "upgrade" message...
