Almost every time I boot up Windows XP Pro SP2 (but not every time), I receive a red alert from Zone Alarm:

"bdss.exe (I have BitDefender installed on my computer) wants to remove a driver or service EventLog\Application\Microsoft H.323 Telephony Service provider."

What is this driver and why should I allow bitDefender to remove it (other than BitDefender tech support saying I should)?

Zonealarm can get strange results sometimes!

    Hi!
I'm running ZA too, and I got similar messages for another software, not yours. I recently upgraded to the latest version after I upgraded to XP, and all my problems of the nature of yours went away (or are quietly lurking!) with the latest UG.

ZA takes control of my system at times, and runs for long periods of time which I don't really like, but getting them to respond or even getting to them at all is a chore. Time to renew is coming close, maybe I can get their ear at that time.
