Zone Alarm Security

My zonealarm free says it block 0 access attempts + 0 programs secure for internet access, what is going on? Is this normal? I set rules for programs.

I can give a screenshot later on.

 

working now. I dont get that many block access attempts, but it shows numbers now.

Mailman's recommendation is very sound advice, and I would only add that IMO the Internet Zone settings should be set to high and Trusted to medium.

I did some poking around the ZA User Forum this evening and it appears my advice might not be that "sound" after all.

I used to run ZoneAlarm Pro in my own computer (and I used to read the ZA forums). I still had difficulty finding "quick" helpful information such as typical software settings, explanations, etc. Specific information seems harder to find there than it used to be.

The "stickies" in the ZA forums don't come anywhere near the quality of the "stickies" at Windows BBS.

I think Sniper might find such configuration/explanation information more readily via ZoneAlarm's <F1> key help documentation.

Sniper, please hit the F1 key when you are looking at the ZoneAlarm screen and see if that pulls up helpful documentation for you.

BTW, I agree with Dave. IMO, Internet Zone should be set to "High ".
