Resolved Zip and Rar files

Does anyone know a good free unpacking tool that works both on zip and rar files.
I know of winrar but that isn't free anymore.
Any help will be much appreciated.

7-Zip, used it for years and can't fault it.

 

I believe 7 zip does:

For just extracting I use ExtractNow. Supports ZIP, RAR, ISO, BIN, IMG, IMA, IMZ, 7Z, ACE, JAR, GZ, LZH, LHA, TAR, SIT archive formats. http://www.extractnow.com/

 

If you read the link that Ann and I provided you would see it can extract RAR files.
