YouTube slow starting or hangs

    WIN XP Prof,3 GB memory. Firefox. NetGear wireless router with PC connected directly. Protection is by MS Security Essentials and Windows firewall.
    Recently YouTube items hang for ages before connecting, also a video may stop running part way through. This also happens when using my laptop which is connected wirelessly, using Vista home vasic and Firefox.
    I have run several anti virus/malware programmes - found nothing.

    Any suggestions for a fix, or is there a YouTube problem just now?

    As this issue occurs on 2 computers with different OS's it is unlikely to be a computer issue although Firefox is common to both. You could see if you have the same problem in IE - if the issue remains try a reboot of the Router. Otherwise it is an ISP/YouTube problem.
