Recently I installed the most current version of the Yahoo home page.

In the past I was using the Google home page, but decided to try Yahoo.

Now, I want to uninstall Yahoo and use Google again instead.

However, my problem is that I am afraid of losing all my Favorites. Yahoo calls Favorites "Bookmarks" and lists them in a "sidebar." I saved them to an address on my hard drive, and then to a CD. But, any time you click on the favorite/bookmark it goes to the Yahoo internet page.

I cannot copy the entire list to my CD. Can only copy the link.

How do I make sure that my favorites won't be lost when I uninstall Yahoo?

I try to keep Google as my home page in internet options, but when I re-boot the yahoo page keeps coming up as the default.

Thanks so much for your help

    Hi Judy

I'm guessing that you are using IE browser. Go to Yahoo, click on the web page you want to save. once the page opens click on "Favorites" at the top of your IE browser, Click "Add to Favorites ". Do this with each page. It will now be in "Favorites" on your IE browser.

Add Google's Address to The "home page" address in internet options, Click the "Use Current button" At the bottom click "Apply" then OK.
