Yahoo & midi files

I often receive messages in Outlook Express which have sounds (midi files) playing in the background. When that message (including background midi) is sent by the same person to my Yahoo address it does not play. Because the sound is not sent as an attachment, but rather as part of the message background format, there is nothing to open and play (in Hotmail the background sound arrives as a midi which you can open). Does anyone know how I can get such messages, with midi files playing in the background, to play in Yahoo? Many thanks.

 

You can't. To my knowledge Yahoo doesn't permit it.

 

A pity about that, especially since Hotmail does. Thank you.
