yahoo messenger crashes with R6025 oure virtual function call

    Whenever I login YM version 9 on my windows vista OS, after some time it stops with error R 6025 pure virtual function call, MS visual C++ runtime library

    C:\programfile\yahoo\messenger\yahooMessenger.exe

    Thinking that updating YM to new version 9.0.0.2152 would solve I went tried to upgrade but after reaching 100% download once again it went Not responding and I was not bale to upgrade.I tried to uninstall and reinstall but issue was not resolved. Please guide.
