Set up a new Yahoo WebMail account. Mozilla 1.5 will not issue "Save Password" for Yahoo sign in screen. There is NO yahoo links / user name in "Password Saved" and nothing in "Passwords Never Saved ".
The "Remember my ID on this computer" for yahoo logon screen is always checked, but never saves it. (site cleared for all cookies)
"Remember Passwords" is "ticked" in Mozilla Preferences.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks

    Hi Dennis,

The Yahoo problem is generally a cookie issue. Have you checked Cookie management, under EDIT | PREFS | PRIVACY | COOKIES | MANAGE button. Delete Yahoo there, then login again. Or is that what you mean by "site cleared for all cookies "?

    Hi Ramona

Hope you had a nice Turkey day. Thanks for taking the time to post.

Poor choice of words on my part, I should have said deleted.
Also cookies are set for "originating only ", no time limit.

I just set up a user account for another site, password manager processed correctly. I do have "Block unrequested Popups" active, but the site works fine. Just can't get Mozilla or the site/cookies to manage sign in screen.

    Hi Dennis,

In Preferences | Advanced | Scripts & Plugins
Do you have these two options enabled under Allow Scripts to:
    Create or change cookie
    Read Cookies

Have you tried disabling your Firewall before trying to login to the site?

    What happens if you enable:
    Enable all cookies?

    Hi Ramona

    Yes to both

    Just tried both, no change.

The only problem is the "Sign in Screen ".... I must manually log in.... which when done, the site works perfectly.
Again, deleted all Yahoo cookies, closed Mozilla, reloaded, signed in / logged out / also tried closed view... no matter how I do it, always have to log back on. UNLESS I stay in any yahoo domain from the originating screen. Then if I click on "Get Yahoo Mail" it will return me to Yahoo mail.
All I want is "Mozilla Password Manager" to handle this task... Only way I now how to force the call is deleting all Yahoo entries from password manager... but no entries exist.
