With Firefox I cannot see many of the graphics in Yahoo Webmail (reminder bells, replied/forwarded arrows, flaged mail, etc). I have tried several other Browsers (IE, Netscape, Opera) and it seems ONLY Firefox has this problem. But I love Firefox. Is there anything I can do?

Firefox also seems to work fine with Yahoo Mail on Linux, just not on Windows (both 2000 and XP)

    wassupwidat?

I may be a big problem for someone who is used to the bells and whistle, but I don't even have any idea how to show up any of these things. To me, my Yahoo works perfectly well, in Firefox1.0.7.
Have you checked the Options|General Preferences?
Firefox will protect the user from sites showing graphics, as well as in other ways. There is a bar just above page, and below the Tabs, where you can make adjustments.

    captnemo,

Do you have the Adblock extension installed? I have read that AdBlock and its G filter can often affect Yahoo Mail. If you did a Search on the other Forum where you posted this problem, you will find that many users claim this is not a Firefox problem, but that Yahoo has been promising to correct Firefox issues for the past year.

Try the test for Images, .gif images don't load. If everything works there, then at least you will know that all your settings are correct. Otherwise, I would look to Yahoo! It's established that some users have never experienced a problem, yet others do experience problems with Yahoo! Mail.

Knowing how fast Yahoo moves, on these things, they may start supporting Firefox1.0 within the year (or may be later). Only recently, they started supporting Netscape7.1, but not 7.2. what do you expect!
However, extentions can cause problems. I would never use AdBlock.

Thanks, I got it to work by copying my prefs folder, deleting it, and then copying back stuff I wanted (bookmarks etc). Works now, so I'm happy :)

curiously, before I could not see the graphics, but if I would right click over where the image should be and select "view image" it would display fine. Hmmm.

This procedure also worked for after a vexing period. Actually, I found I only had to delete one file: prefs.js. It restored itself correctly when I opened the browser.
