Okay, 1st. Hope this is best place to ask this question. 2nd, Only when I pull up Yahoo Mail in front of anything that would have like a check mark or a box for a check mark there are 4 small letters 2on top of 2 . For instance EO is in a box that when I point cursor says delete. Everywhere there seems to be a comand there is a tiny box showing with the 4 leters or numbers in it on top of each other. What did I click or un click wrong on my browsers Yahoo mail? I just found out its only happening on Firefox browser. Not IE or Chrome.

    Hi Paul,

FF 25.0 is the current version, but I show exactly the same thing in Yahoo mail. Fortunately, I seldom use Yahoo mail, but hovering the mouse pointer over the box shows you what you need to know.

Thanks JSS3rd, its driving me nuts. It was fine for months but I don't know if I clicked something I should not have or what I did wrong if anything. Well thanks anyway JSS. If you don't mind, what do you use for E-mail?

Funny ... When I tried to edit my post to change the small b to a capital B the system wouldn't let me. It should read TB 24.1.0.

    Hi Paul ...

I've just discovered why you are and I was getting those little boxes in Yahoo Mail ... you need to have Adobe Shockwave Player installed.

I was getting them because I use Pale Moon (64-bit version of FF) as my primary browser, and the Shockwave Player won't run in a 64-bit browser.

I also run FF, which is a 32-bit browser, as a backup. As soon as I installed the Shockwave Player, the little boxes in Yahoo mail disappeared, replaced by the proper icons (see the before and after screenshots).
