I am running Win XP Pro & IE 6.

I install a Yahoo free mail account about a month ago and started having problems with certain websites falling off line after a short period of use this site being one of them.

Road Runner did all kind of checking for me including installing a new Modem.

Today I started removing things I knew I installed in the past month.

I looked for a way to get rid of the Yahoo account--there was nothing in the ADD & REMOVE section and the only place I found anything was in -- "RegCleaner--that I have installed. I removed the 2 items there.

Same problem--then I clicked on the toolbar section of a open brower page and unclicked the "Yahoo Companion Bar "
It went way and so did my problems.

Brought it back in site and problems reappeared.

Then I went to Program Files in Windows Explorer and deleted the "Companion Bar" folder.

Companion bar will still not go away permantly, I can only hide it.

Does anyone know how to remove this bar and all traces of Yahoo?

    Thanks
    Paul
